Adam Ssentumbwe, also known as Adams Art UG, following his completion of a master class at Motiv Academy established a brand known as Code Kinu. The name “Code Kinu” translates to “dress shorts,” reflecting the brand’s inspiration from the trend of wearing shorts among modern Ugandan youths. Collaborating with a number of community tailors, the brand focuses on transforming second-hand fabrics into fashionable, African-themed clothing for the modern, sustainability-conscious youth in Uganda.
