Kyomuhangi Claire is a textile and apparel designer passionate about creating sustainable, identity-driven fashion. A graduate of Kyambogo University with a Bachelor of Textiles and Apparel Design, she combines traditional materials such as raffia, jute, and bark cloth with contemporary design to celebrate cultural heritage.

Recognized with a Certificate of Merit from the Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) and as the creative wear designer for the KUI Pageantry 2026, Claire continues to champion eco-conscious fashion that preserves history, promotes local craftsmanship, and inspires meaningful storytelling.
