Niyigena Angella, a fashion student at Michelangelo College, is driven by a lifelong passion for style and creativity, inspired by her artistic family and vibrant culture. She’s honing skills in pattern making and textile design, blending traditional techniques with modern aesthetics. For her project, Angella will design a two-piece outfit using second-hand jeans, threads, and safety pins. Inspired by hip-hop, rap, and social justice, she aims to blend high-fashion with streetwear, creating unique, impactful clothing for celebrities and influencers, and empowering unemployed youth.
